Old Business

New Business

 

Renee brought a proposal to increase the AA/AS graduation requirements for math and English to increase to Math 152 and English 1A or their equivalents, respectively. The proposal was approved.

 

Mary Ellen brought three new degrees to replace the *non-compliant Liberal Arts and Sciences degree currently offered.
The new degrees will be called:

  • Liberal Arts and Sciences with an emphasis in Arts and Humanities
  • Liberal Arts and Sciences with an Emphasis in Social and Behavioral Sciences
  • Liberal Arts and Sciences with an Emphasis in Interdisciplinary Studies

The proposal was approved.

Mary Ellen also brought a proposal to grant Certificates of Achievement in IGETC and CSU General Education. Allowable under the new regulations. The proposal was approved.
