Heather Lynn Claussen

I am an anthropologist specializing in gender studies, religious studies, the study of social change, and Philippine studies. 
My professional interests also include the study of multiculturalism, globalization, psychological anthropology, marginality, creativity, medical anthropology, human sexuality, and ethnography and field methodology.

I am currently teaching anthropology at Cabrillo Community College.

My first book, on feminist Catholic nuns in the Philippines, was published by the University of Michigan Press in 2001.
