Hello Everyone
Welcome to my most recent trip, Panama. I visited the country for ten days. My trip included many cultural and outdoor activities. Panama is a great country for those who love the outdoors, want to enjoy the sun, and simply relax. I found the greatly diverse population to be very friendly, helpful and cheerful. I mostly enjoyed visiting Bouqete and the mountain areas. Also, a lovely place for white sand beaches with no crowds and clear water is in Isla Cantadora, just off Panama city. I spent most of my trip hiking through beautiful coffee and citrus plantations, horseback riding, river rafting on the Chiruqi river, snorkeling in Cantadora, and learning about the people of Panama from the locals. My experience was great in every way, met new people, practiced what little I knew of Spanish, and enjoyed great scenery, Ceveche and inexpensive beer. Other observations of my first Central American visit, was the deplorable situation of the indian coffee growers and laborers. Panama is a relatively rich country in relation to other Central American nations, however, the working an farming class is still in a great economic disadvantage.
