Rain postpones ALL WEEKEND GAMES

Thursday 2/14 scheduled game at Delta has been moved to Sat 3/16 @ 1:00

Contra Costa and Feather River will not be re-scheduled and will hopefully be replaced by other opponents

 

Hawks split DH vs Feather River, now 6-3 on the season...

Game 1: The Hawks were tied 5-5 bottom of the 5th when the Eagles came storming back to get the win 12-6. Declan Llyod took the loss

 

Game 2: This time the Hawks stormed back, down 6-2 in the 5th, when Jonah Shabry hit a grandslam, and was immediately followed by a solo shot from Joey Miranda. The bullpen threw 5 scoreless innings as James Schwenger threw 3 scoreless to pick up the win and Josh Lane threw the 9th for the save.

Hawks go 2-1 on the week, 5-1 to start the season...

Tues 1/29: Hawks 7 Marin 5...Th Hawks staffed the game, and ended up putting up 2 runs in each of the 7th 8th and 9th innning, walking off Marin

Th 1/31: Hawks 5 Laney 4...Gioe Besio threw 6 strong and a big hit by Danny Miranda, propelled the Hawks to their 5th straight win.

Fri 2/1: DVC 3 Hawks 2...The Hawks couldn't hole a 2-0 lead and a 2-1 lead in the 9th as they were walked off w 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th by the Vikings.

 

The Hawks return to action Tues 2/5 at either the Nest or Harbor HS vs West Valley

 

Hawks sweep opening series vs West Hills, off to a 3-0 start....

The Hawks won all 3 games vs West Hills:

Game 1, Hawks 7-WHC 5: So Ryan Juncker had a bases clearing double in the bottom of the 8th to propel the HAwks to an season opening comeback win. So Josh Lane picked up his 1st collegiate win and Chandler Sanguenetti his 1st collegiate save.

Game 2, Hawks 13-WHC 2: Fr Gio Besio threw 6 fabulous innings and the Hawks offense awoke.

Game 3, Hawks 15-WHC 1: Fr Trent Walker threw to the minimum batters threw 6 innings on only 57 pitches.

2019 season set to start at the Nest Friday 1/25. The #18 ranked Hawks will take on West Hills College...

The Hawks look to start the 2019 season with a bang and a host of newcomers. Friday will be a single game at Cabrillo with a DH the next day at West Hills College. BP starts at 12:00 pm Friday for the game.

What is Cabrillo Baseball all about?

Welcome to Cabrillo College Baseball. Cabrillo College has regained its position as one of the finest junior college baseball programs on the west coast,  an unprecedented 5 straight super-regional appearances and 7 straight playoff appearances. In the last 9 years, we've had 80 guys move on to play at the 4 year level to include 18 at the Div 1 level, and 2 drafted pitchers.

Playing college baseball is a unique challenge, which will demand your greatest intensity, concentration and commitment.  The time demands along with the mental and physical challenges you will face are extraordinary and will demand your 100% effort.  College baseball players must be active and successful students as well. 

We expect the same effort on the field and in the classroom.  The academic portion of college athletics is difficult and we are all committed to being active participants in our success on and off the field. 2015-18 teams earned a 3.1 team gpa.

The Seahawk coaching staff is filled with former high school head coaches, college coaches, and pro ball players. Each of these men brings their own connections, experience, and desire to help you achieve our player’s long term athletic and academic goals. Cabrillo College baseball players are those with a burning desire to grow as athletes, students, and men.
