Hawks season stalls out in Super Regionals again, swept by Ohlone 8-4....

The Hawks fell down 6-2 in the 2nd and squandered a bases loaded opportunity in the 5th. The Hawks end the season 29-15.

Ohlone wins Game 1 5-4...

Ohlone takes Game 1 5-4.  A 5 run 2nd inning put the Hawks behind early.  A rally in the ninth cut the lead to 5-4, and had 2 runners on with 2 outs, but induced a flyout to the end the game.

Jordan Peabody and Digger Gugale had 3 hits and Clayton Andrews had 2 hits.

Game 2 is at Ohlone at 1pm.

Super Regional will be at Ohlone, Fri-Sun 5/12-14....

In a continuing battle in the Coast Conference, the Hawks will face league mates Ohlone College in the Super Regional  Here is the schedule (all games at Ohlone):

Friday 5/12  2:00pm

Sat 5/13 1:00pm (Cabrillo Home team)

Sun 5/14 (if needed) 1:00

All games will be at Ohlone, and Ohlone has a radio broadcast (link will be posted here).

Game 1 goes to Hawks, 7-4 winners at Merced. Game 2 at 11 am Sat 5/6....

The Hawks struck for 5 runs in the 1st and played a solid game to win game 1 of the series. Brett de Geus picked up the win and Clayton Andrews the save. Adam Rossit had 4 hits, Clayton Andrews 3, and Jairus Richards had 2 hits with a jack.

Game 2 is Sat 5/6 at 11am

Hawks 7th straight playoff appearance, series beings at Merced College 5/5 at 3pm...

The Hawks return to the playoffs has them opening at #7 Merced College, Friday 5/5 at 3pm. Merced was the Central Valley Conference champs and earned the 7 seeds. The Hawks earned the 10th seed and will be on the road to open the playoffs.

This round is a best of 3 format with one game Friday, and the remaining games scheduled for Sat starting at 11am.

What is Cabrillo Baseball all about?

Welcome to Cabrillo College Baseball. Cabrillo College has regained its position as one of the finest junior college baseball programs on the west coast,  an unprecedented 5 straight super-regional appearances and 7 straight playoff appearances. In the last 7 years, we've had 70 guys move on to play at the 4 year level to include 15 at the Div 1 level.

Playing college baseball is a unique challenge, which will demand your greatest intensity, concentration and commitment.  The time demands along with the mental and physical challenges you will face are extraordinary and will demand your 100% effort.  College baseball players must be active and successful students as well. 

We expect the same effort on the field and in the classroom.  The academic portion of college athletics is difficult and we are all committed to being active participants in our success on and off the field. 2015 and 16 teams earned a 3.1 team gpa.

The Seahawk coaching staff is filled with former high school head coaches, college coaches, and pro ball players. Each of these men brings their own connections, experience, and desire to help you achieve our player’s long term athletic and academic goals. Cabrillo College baseball players are those with a burning desire to grow as athletes, students, and men.
