The Hawks filled up the Pacific Coast All Conference selections.  Here are the winners:

Player of the Year:       Clayton Andrews (Fr)

Pitcher of the Year:      John Breidenthal (So)

1st Team Infield:            Scott Akrop (So) unanimous,  Zane Gelphman (So)

1st Team Outfield:         Zane Greenberg (So)

Honorable Mention OF:  Caleb Fidiam (So)

Hawks season over as Chabot plates 3 in the b8th, and eliminate the Hawks 4-3...

Chabot clutched up and scored 3, and beat the Hawks 4-3.  John Breidenthal had a gutty effort but ran out of steam.

The Hawks end the season 27-13, Coast Conference Champs and their 4th straight Super Regional appearance.

Chabot scores late, beat Hawks in Game 1 of Super Regional 9-2....

Chabot took a 4-2 lead in the 7th and tacked on 5 in the 9th, as they defeated Cabrillo 9-2.  Kevin Nava was masterful in relief, as he quieted the Hawks offense for 6.6 innings. 

The Hawks are in a must win situation now, as they must win to force a Game 2.  Game 2 is Sat at 1pm and the Hawks are visitors.

Akrop comes through in 9th, sends Hawks to the Super Regionals for the 4th straight year.  Beat De Anza 4-3...

The Hawks repelled a gritty effort by De Anza, and beat the Dons 4-3 on a 2 out base hit by Scott Akrop in the top of the ninth.  Clayton Andrews picked up the win after 7 strong innings from John Breidenthal.  Jairus Richards had another good post season game with a couple hits, and Kyle Swanson had 2 hits and 3 stolen bases.

The Hawks will now host #10 seed Chabot College at Cabrillo starting Friday at 2:00

Hawks win Game 1 of the Regionals, beat De Anza 13-4...

Brett de Geus threw 7 strong innings as the Hawks win Game 1. Jarius Richards had 3 hits and the Hawks had a 7 run inning in the 4th to blow open the game. 

Game 2 starts on Sunday 5/8 at 11am with John Breidenthal.

Game 1 of playoffs postponed because of rain, Game 1 re-scheduled for Sat 5/7 at 2pm...

Game 1 was rained out and has been re-scheduled to Sat 5/7 at 2pm. Game 2 will be on Sunday 5/8 at 11 am with Game 3, 30 minutes after if needed.

Hawks get #4 seed in playoffs, set to host De Anza College....

The best of 3 regional playoffs begin Friday 5/6 @ Cabrillo. Game 1 start time is 2:00. On Sat 5/7 Game 2 will start at 11am with De Anza as the Home team.  If a Game 3 is needed it will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 3.  All games are at Cabrillo.

Hawks end season on a 10 game winning streak, win at Skyline 13-12, finish season 25-11...

The Hawks had 4 home runs, 2 by Scott Akrop, and one each by Clayton Andrews and Zane Gelphman. Akrop had 4 hits and 6 rbi's.  Brett de Geus picked up the win and he is now 5-1.

The Hawks wrap up the regular season with a 25-11 mark and 15-3 in conference to earn their 3rd Coast Conference title in last 4 years.  The playoffs begin next Friday at the Nest in a regional round  best of 3 playoff vs an opponent to be named later.

Hawks clinch conference title for 3rd time in 4 years, beat up Hartnell  11-3...

The Hawks pounded out 19 hits as the crushed to victory in a 11-3 win.  Devon Loomis got the win, Clayton Andrews had 3 hits and Cam White got his 1st college hit.

With the win, the Hawks secure the home field for 1st two rounds of the 2 rounds of playoffs (pending 1st rd).

Hawks clinch 6th straight playoff berth, Breidenthal picks up his 10th win of the year, Hawks beat Ohlone 10-4...

With the win, the Hawks clinch a spot in the CA state baseball playoffs for the 6th straight year.  John Breidenthal pitched 6 scoreless innings (he gave up only 5 runs, 2 earned all of conference play).  Clayton Andrews had 3 more hits and Nick Ciandro had 3 hits and 3 rbi's.

The Hawks magic number to clinch at least a tie for the conference championship is down to one.  They return to action Thursday at home vs Hartnell College.

Hawks win thriller in 10 innings, walk off Canada College on Nick Ciandro's game winner, 4-3 winners....

In a tight hard fought game, the Hawks win in 10 innings on Nick Ciandro's walkoff hit in the 10th.  Ciandro also tied the game in the bottom of the 8th w a 2 out knock ( he had 3 hits on the day).  Brett de Gues threw 9 strong innings

and Devon Loomis picked up the win, by throwing the 10th.

The Hawks claim sole possession of 1st place with the win, and have 3 games to play.  The Hawks next game is Tues Apr. 26 at home (but the Hawks will be the Visitors) vs Ohlone College.

Hawks sweep another season series, beat MPC 5-1...

John Breidenthal picked up his 9th win of the year and Zane Greenberg and Clayton Andrews each had 3 hits.  The Hawks return to action Sat at the nest versus Canada College at 1pm

Hawks sweep season series vs Gavilan, win 12-6....

Zane Greenberg had 4 hits and 3 rbi's and Brett de Gues threw 7 strong innings as the Hawks sweep the season series.  Hawks Return to action Tues vs MPC.

Hawks win a thriller in 13 innings, Kyle Swanson drives in winning run.  Clayton Andrews has 3 hits and picks up the win...

Great pitching by the Hawks kept them in the game until the offense woke up in the 13th with a leadoff single by Zane Greenberg and Kyle Swanson had the walk off hit.

Devon Loomis threw 7 strong innings. Reliever Scott Petrosky threw 3 scoreless, aided by a spectacular throw from Scott Akrop to nail the potential go ahead run in the 10th.  Clayton Andrews pitched the final 3 innings to earn his 1st college win (he also had 2 doubles and a single).

The Hawks return to action Sat at Gavilan College, 1pm.

Back to Back shutouts for Hawks...Beat Skyline 5-0, re claim the top position of the Pacific....

John Breidenthal was spectacular again, tossing a 2 hit shutout on 100 pitches.  Clayton Andrews had 3 hits and  4 stolen bases, and Zane Gelphman had 3 hits to include a 2 run homer. The Hawks return to action Thursday at home vs Skyline.

Hawks toss shut out, beat Hartnell 8-0...

Brett de Gues threw 7 strong as the Hawks shut out Hartnell.  Scott Akrop had 3 hits w a triple and 4 rbi's

Late rally, behind Andrews' bomb, rescues Hawks.  Win 3-2 behind Loomis CG....

Clayton Andrews tied the game with his 1st Hr of the year in the 8th, and after Scott Akrop's double, Nick Ciandro's 2 strike 2 out hit, out the Hawks in front for good.

Hawks lose tight one with sloppy play and not much hitting, lose 4-2.....

Another tight game, another tight loss for Hawks as Ohlone scores 3 in 7th to beat Hawks 5-4...

Canada puts up 2 in bottom of 9th, beat Hawks 5-4....

8-1 over Canada, puts Hawks alone at top of Coast Conference. Briedenthal outstanding again....

John Breidnethal threw 7 scoreless innings (to run his consecutive scoreless inning streak to 36), and the Hawks offense pounds out 16 hits in the win.

Hawks return to action Thursday at Canada

Briedenthal is good again and the long ball, help Hawks win Game 2 at MPC...

John Breidnethal threw 7 scoreless, and Nick Ciandro had 2 homers and Jordan Peabody had one, as the HAwks improve to 4-0 in Coast Conference play and beat MPC 6-0.

The Hawks have a bye for the next round of games and return to action next Tues 3/29 at home vs Canada College

Zane Gelphman's emergency start saves the day as the Hawks sweep 1st week of conference....

Gelphman threw 6 2/3 of good baseball as the Hawks beat MPC, 4-2.  Scott Akrop continued his hot hitting ways with 2 more hits and Zane Greenberg continues to drive in runs, with 2 more.

The Hawks wrap up the 2 game series vs MPC on Tuesday 3/22 at MPC, 2:30.

Hawks win Game 2 vs Gavilan, lead by the return of Devon Loomis and Scot Akrop's 4 hits...

Devon Loomis threw 6 shutout and the Hawks had over 10 hits for the 4th straight game, led by Scott Akrop's 4, as the Hawks won the season series vs Gavilan 10-6.

The Hawks return to conference play Sat, at home vs MPc @ 1 pm.

John Briedenthal pitches Hawks to their conference opening win, beating Gavilan 4-0....

So. John Breidenthal was tough again as he threw 8 scoreless innings, picking up his 5th win of the year.  The Hawks had 12 hits as they won their conference opener.

They return to action Thursday at home vs Gavilan at 2:30

Coast Conference play begins this week, Hawks look to get off to a hot start..

The Hawks open up Coast Conference play this Tues, in a revised and shortened schedule.  The Hawks will play at Gavilan College Tuesday at 2:30, and Gavilan will come to Cabrillo on Thursday @ 2:30.  On Sat, the Hawks will begin their 2  game series vs MPC at home 1pm.

Hawks end last week of non-conference w a 10 inning walk off win vs San Mateo....

Zane Greenberg drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th after an error from the CSM pitcher. The Hawks end the non conference porion of the season at 10-8, and open conference play on Tuesday at Gavilan.  The Hawks have now beaten CSM 4 straight times in the yearly series.

Last Week of Non-Conference, Hawks have 3 cross over games vs Coast Gate Division...

The Hawks wrap up their tough non conference slate versus 3 ranked opponents and members of the other side of the conference.

On Tues 3/8, the #14 Hawks host #19 De Anza College. Devon Loomis will be on the hill.

On Thurs 3/10, the Hawks travel to #7 Mission College where John Breidenthal will take the mound.

On Sat 3/12, the Hawks wrap up the week hosting #5 College of San Mateo. Brett de Gues will be on the hill.

Hawks split doubleheader w/ Sac City, losing Game 1 5-3, win Game 2 5-2...

Game 1 Recap: The Hawks were tied 3-3 until the 8th inning when Sac City had a 2 out single and scored the go ahead run on a close play at the plate.  The Hawks couldn't re-group and lost their 6th straight. Clayton Andrews had 3 hits and Scott Akrop and Nick Ciandro each had 2

Game 2 Recap:  The Hawks jumped out early to a 4-0 lead and that's all they needed behind John Briedenthal's spectacular pitching.  Andrews had 3 more hits and Scott Akrop had 4 rbi's, with Andrews picking up his 4th save on the year.

The Hawks return to action Tuesday vs DeAnza College at 2pm.

West Valley wins rematch with the Hawks, Hawks fall 6-4..

West Valley applied consistent pressure vs the Hawks and finally burst through for 4 runs in the 6th inning, beating the Hawks 6-4.  Once again, the Hawks tried to rally late, but that effort was snuffed by a skidding catch in LF to end the game.

The Hawks return to action next Tuesday at Chabot College.

Delta late inning rally, helps them sweep Hawks, winning 7-4...

The Hawks took a 4 run lead into the top of the 8th, but Delta exploded for 6 runs on 6 hits and took the lead for good.

Zach Thibault had 2 rbi's and Brett de Gues was spectacular in 7 innings in his start. The Hawks return to action Thursday at West Valley.

Hawks drop first two games of 3 game series versus #1 Delta College...

A combination of good Del at pitching and hitting and poor Cabrillo play, has resulted in the Hawks losing the 1st 2 of this annual 3 game series.

Game 1 recap:  A 1-1 game into the top of the 8th inning, soon turned to a 4-1 game for the Hawks, spoiling a fine start by Sophomore John Briedenthal.  The Hawks ended up losing  5-1. Clayton Andrews ended up with 2 hits.

Game 2 recap: Wildness on the mound and in effective bats, doomed the Hawks as they lost 11-4 at Delta College.  Devon Loomis took the loss.  Caleb Fidiam has a double and Kyle Swanson hit his 1st collegiate home run.

The Hawks wrap up the series Sat at the Nest, 1pm game time

Hawks sweep the tourney, beating host Yuba College 5-0...

Brett de Gues threw 7 shutout innings, striking out 11 and giving up only 1 hit as the Hawks went undefeated in the Gary Engleken tourney.  Zane Gelphman threw 2 scoreless to complete the shutout.  Clayton Andrews, Scott Akrop, Tony Stanich and Nick Ciandro all had 2 hits.

The Hawks finally will have their 2016 home opener Tuesday at 2:00, in Game 1 of the 3 game series with Delta College.

Game 2 of tourney has Hawks as winners, defeat Feather River 11-7...

Sophomore Devon Loomis has a strong 6 innings, as the Hawk bats woke up and pounded out 11 runs versus Feather River for the win.  Tony Stanich had 3 hits, Zane Gelphman had 3 hits to include a double and a homer, and Scott Akrop and Zach Thibault also had 2 hits.

The Hawks play for the Tourney title tomorrow at 2 pm versus host Yuba College.

Hawks win opening game of Engleken Tourney, beat West Valley 6-4....

The Hawks beat the Vikings 6-4 behind the 3x5 day by Scott Akrop and the all around play by Clayton Andrews. Scott Petroskey picked up his 2nd win of the season and Clayton Andrews picked up his 3rd save of the year. John Breidenthal started his 1st game of the year and threw 4.6 innings.

The Hawks return to action Friday at 1:00 vs . Feather River, with Devon Loomis on the hill.

Hawks hold true to history, another tight game at Laney. Hawks win 2-1 w a run in the ninth...

In 5 of the last 6 years, the Hawks have played a low scoring tight game versus Laney College.  Again the Hawks prevailed, 2-1, thanks to a 9th inning sac fly by soph Zane Gelphman.  John Breidenthal picked up the win in relief and frosh Clayton Andrews picked up his 2nd save of the year striking out the side (every out he has recorded in 3x3 innings has been a punch out).   Kyle Swanson tied the game in the 6th with a sac fly

The undefeated Hawks return to action Fri. 2/5 at American River College vs perennial power Feather River College, at approx 4 pm.

No revenge for Marin, Hawks win 6-2.

In a re-boot of last years opening round of the playoffs, the Hawks won again at College of Marin. The Hawks used 8 pitchers (6 with their college debuts) as they beat College of Marin 6-2. Scott Petrsokey picked up his 1st college win. Clayton Andrews went 3x5 with 3 doubles, Tony Stanich, Nick Ciandro and Jairus Richards all had 2 hits a piece.

The Hawks return to action Thursday at Laney College for a 5pm game. Devon Loomis will be on the hill for the Hawks.

Hawks open season with a bang, sweep opening DH @ #4 Santa Barbara City College, 10-4 and 1-0...

The Hawks start hot sweeping perennial power SBCC on Sat 1/30.  Here is the wrap ups (for box scores check the schedule/ results page).

Game 1 Recap:  The Hawks season started off rough, giving up a 4 spot in the 1st inning.  But starter Devon Loomis settled down and shut SBCC out for the next 4, as John Breidnethal pitched 3 scoreless and Clayton Andrews threw the 9th.  Loomis picked up the win.  The Hawks responded in the 3rd down 4-0, with a 4 spot highlighted by Scott Akrop's Double off the wall in right for 2 runs and Nick Ciandro's triple right after.  Akrop was 2x4 with 4 rbi's and Nick Ciandro was 3x5

Game 2 Recap:  Frosh Brett de Gues gave up no hits through 4 1/3 and pitched 6 innings of shutout baseball to earn his 1st college game.  Steven Eichhorn threw 1 2/3 of scoreless relief and closer Clayton Andrews threw 1 1/3 striking out 4. Zach Thibault hit 1 of his 2 doubles in the 5th to drive in the only run of the game.

The Hawks have now increased their overall record vs SBCC to 9-2 lifetime.  Clayton Andrews threw a total of 2 1/3 innings, recording every out via the strikeout.

The Hawks return to the road Tuesday 2/2 and return to the site of their regional playoff series win, College of Marin. Game time is 2:00 pm
