Hawks win series vs Gavilan..head to final week of regular season, controlling their own destiny...

Juncker drives in go ahead run in bottom of 8th and Hawks win Game 3 3-2....

Walker throws cg, Hawks beat MPC 4-1 and win series....

3 Run 8th propels the Hawks to a 4-1 win vs MPC to even series. Game 3 Sat 3/23 at 1pm

Hawks win series vs Skyline with a 5 run 10th, and a Gomez blast

Hawks win conference opener vs Skyline, 6-1...

Gio Besio picked up his 5th win of the yea with a complete game and Kai Moody had 3 hits as the Hawks won thier conference opener. The 2nd game of the series will resume Thurs 3/7 @ Skyline.

Hawks win both in Fresno, Beat Santa Rosa and Fresno City...

Friday 2/22 Hawks 7-Santa Rosa-4: Chandler Sanguenetti picked up the win with 5 innings. Iram Macias got his 1st college save. Devin Robinson was outstanding defensively at 3b and Mike Hooper had 3 hits (2 Doubles)

Sat 2/23 Hawks 8 FC 4: Trent Walker threw 6 strong innings to pick up the win, as the Hawks took the lead in the top of 7th and tacked on in the 8th and 9th. Cooper Smith, Jonah Shabry and Rex Gomez each had 3 hits and Macias picked up his 2nd save on one pitch.

Hawks win on road, beat DVC 9-7...

Cabrillo had 15 hits led by Jake Keaschall's 5-5 day and Josh Lane's 3 hit day with a double and a homer. Gio Besio picked up the win as he threw 7 innings on his start, Riley Wingerson picked up his 1st college save.

Hawks split DH vs Feather River, now 6-3 on the season...

Game 1: The Hawks were tied 5-5 bottom of the 5th when the Eagles came storming back to get the win 12-6. Declan Llyod took the loss

Game 2: This time the Hawks stormed back, down 6-2 in the 5th, when Jonah Shabry hit a grandslam, and was immediately followed by a solo shot from Joey Miranda. The bullpen threw 5 scoreless innings as James Schwenger threw 3 scoreless to pick up the win and Josh Lane threw the 9th for the save.

Hawks go 2-1 on the week, 5-1 to start the season...

Tues 1/29: Hawks 7 Marin 5...Th Hawks staffed the game, and ended up putting up 2 runs in each of the 7th 8th and 9th innning, walking off Marin

Th 1/31: Hawks 5 Laney 4...Gioe Besio threw 6 strong and a big hit by Danny Miranda, propelled the Hawks to their 5th straight win.

Fri 2/1: DVC 3 Hawks 2...The Hawks couldn't hole a 2-0 lead and a 2-1 lead in the 9th as they were walked off w 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th by the Vikings.

The Hawks return to action Tues 2/5 at either the Nest or Harbor HS vs West Valley

Hawks sweep opening series vs West Hills, off to a 3-0 start....

The Hawks won all 3 games vs West Hills:

Game 1, Hawks 7-WHC 5: So Ryan Juncker had a bases clearing double in the bottom of the 8th to propel the HAwks to an season opening comeback win. So Josh Lane picked up his 1st collegiate win and Chandler Sanguenetti his 1st collegiate save.

Game 2, Hawks 13-WHC 2: Fr Gio Besio threw 6 fabulous innings and the Hawks offense awoke.

Game 3, Hawks 15-WHC 1: Fr Trent Walker threw to the minimum batters threw 6 innings on only 57 pitches.

2019 season set to start at the Nest Friday 1/25. The #18 ranked Hawks will take on West Hills College...

The Hawks look to start the 2019 season with a bang and a host of newcomers. Friday will be a single game at Cabrillo with a DH the next day at West Hills College. BP starts at 12:00 pm Friday for the game.

2 Hawks get drafted in MLB draft by the Dodgers...

Clayton Andrews and Brett de Geus were both drafted by the Dodgers in the 2017 MLB Draft.  This is the most players drafted in a single year here at Cabrillo, and the most pitchers of any JC in the state.Andrews will continue his schooling and play at Long Beach St next year, de Geus signed an will be at rookie ball soon.

Hawks even up the series vs Skyline, series decider on Sat at Skyline...

The Hawks pounded out 23 hits and 17 runs to even up the series.  The deciding game is Sat at Skyline, pending weather.

2 in a row, Hawks beat Mission 5-3 at home...

Cooper Smith had 4 more hits and a good clean game to win at home.  The Hawks open up conference play Tuesday with a 3 game series vs Skyline.

Hawks bats awake, beat DeAnza 14-9...

Cooper Smith had 4 hits to lead an explosive offense outing and beat DeAnza 14-9.  Hawks next game is Sun 3/4 at home vs Mission College

Hawks beat #1 Delta 8-3, game 2 is Thursday at Delta...

#6 Hawks beat Marin 10-5...

Josh Rodriguez threw 6 scoreless as the Hawks got to double digits for the 1st time of the year and beat the College of Marin 10-5.

The home opener is Thurs 2/1 at 2pm

Hawks go 1-2 on So Cal Trip....

The Hawks won 5-1 on Firday and lost 12-4 sat and 6-1 on Sunday

Clayton Andrews named All American for 2nd straight year, Brett de Geus named 2nd team All American...

To cap off a remarkable career at Cabrillo, Clayton Andrews was named an All American for the 2nd straight year, this time as a relief pitcher.  Andrews was also named to the All State and All Region teams.

Brett de Geus was named to the 2nd team All American team as well as the All State and All Region team

Ciandro and Richards to Cal St Fullerton and Trautner to UC Davis...

Hawks season stalls out in Super Regionals again, swept by Ohlone 8-4....

The Hawks fell down 6-2 in the 2nd and squandered a bases loaded opportunity in the 5th. The Hawks end the season 29-15.

Ohlone wins Game 1 5-4...

Ohlone takes Game 1 5-4.  A 5 run 2nd inning put the Hawks behind early.  A rally in the ninth cut the lead to 5-4, and had 2 runners on with 2 outs, but induced a flyout to the end the game.

Jordan Peabody and Digger Gugale had 3 hits and Clayton Andrews had 2 hits.

Game 2 is at Ohlone at 1pm.

In a continuing battle in the Coast Conference, the Hawks will face league mates Ohlone College in the Super Regional  Here is the schedule (all games at Ohlone):

Game 1 goes to Hawks, 7-4 winners at Merced. Game 2 at 11 am Sat 5/6....

The Hawks struck for 5 runs in the 1st and played a solid game to win game 1 of the series. Brett de Geus picked up the win and Clayton Andrews the save. Adam Rossit had 4 hits, Clayton Andrews 3, and Jairus Richards had 2 hits with a jack.

Game 2 is Sat 5/6 at 11am

Hawks 7th straight playoff appearance, series beings at Merced College 5/5 at 3pm...

The Hawks return to the playoffs has them opening at #7 Merced College, Friday 5/5 at 3pm. Merced was the Central Valley Conference champs and earned the 7 seeds. The Hawks earned the 10th seed and will be on the road to open the playoffs.

This round is a best of 3 format with one game Friday, and the remaining games scheduled for Sat starting at 11am
