About Athletics

Cabrillo College is one of the one hundred and five colleges that make up the California Community College Athletic Association and is a member of the seventeen college Coast Athletic Conference.

Cabrillo offers a comprehensive athletic program that includes:

baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, football, men’s golf, men’s and women’s soccer, softball, men’s and women’s swimming, women’s volleyball, and men’s and women’s water polo, that meets the interests of it’s students.

Cabrillo College is dedicated to providing its student athletes with the opportunity to experience the valuable lessons associated with structured athletic participation.

Cabrillo College strives to provide quality transfer, career, and life-long learning programs that provide the student athletes with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in life.

Intercollegiate athletic competition is governed by the Coast Conference and the California Community College Athletic Association Constitution. Obtaining clearance for athletic eligibility often requires considerable checking of records and code provisions. These procedures should be started well in advance of the opening of each athletic season. The Athletic Director will interpret the State Athletic Constitution and Conference regulations for all persons concerned. Students will be assisted in establishing athletic eligibility.

Tickets for all home football and basketball games are available at the game. There is a charge for all evening soccer matches.There are no advance ticket sales. Attendance at all other Cabrillo sports events are free of charge.

A master's swim program is not available at Cabrillo nor is the pool is open to the public. The use of the pool is limited to students enrolled in swim classes.
