in the Hartnell Tournament. Chris Sharp scored
17 points to lead the Seahawks while Dom Dunham had
16 and Jared Wood added 10.

#12 - Cabrillo Too Strong for Siskiyous
Cabrillo (8-4) defeated College of the Siskiyous
86-67 on Saturday. The Seahawks traveled a long
way for the game, but it was worth it. Cabrillo's
Aaron Patterson made five 3-point shots in the first
half as the Seahawks built a 49-36 halftime lead
before cruising to their 8th victory of the season.
Patterson finished with 20 points to lead four Seahawk players who scored in double digits. Jared
Wood had 16 points while Joe Atang and Bryan Hines
each added 11 points.

#13 - 'Hawk Trio Lead Balanced Scoring Attack
Cabrillo (9-4) defeated Santa Rosa JC at Santa Rosa
90-84 on Tuesday night. Aaron Patterson scored 24
points, Jared Wood 23, and Chris Sharp 21. The Seahawks
lead at the half 52-42. Santa Rosa cut into the lead
quickly but could not overcome the balanced scoring
of the Seahwks.

#14 - 'Hawks Knock Off #9 Las Positas 103-90
Cabrillo
(10-4) got a big road win over ninth-ranked Las Positas
College on Friday, winning 103-90. The Seahawks
made 15 3-point shots enroute to their 10th and biggest
win of the season. Cabrillo scored in triple
digits for the first time since defeating Napa Valley
College 100-69 on November 12, 2002. The Seahawks
are averaging 79.6 points per game, easily the highest
scoring average in recent years. Aaron Patterson
scored 28 points, Chris Sharp and Jared Wood had 23
each and Jason Cole added 12.

#15 - #1 Ohlone Too Strong; 'Hawks Fall 90-74
Cabrillo
(10-5) put up a good fight but Ohlone College, Northern
California's top-ranked team, prevailed 90-74.
The Seahawks trailed by only four points just moments
before halftime. However, an Ohlone 3-pointer
at the halftime buzzer put them ahead 47-40.
Cabrillo once again used a balanced scoring attack,
putting four Seahawk players in double figures.
Aaron Patterson had 15 points, Jared Wood scored 13
points, Dom Dunham added 12 and Jason Cole chipped
in with 10.

#17 - 'Hawks Knock Off #11 Monterey 80-76
Aaron
Patterson had 24 points and Dom
Dunham added 17 as Cabrillo got a big road victory
over 11th-ranked Monterey Peninsula College by a final
score of 80-76. With an overall record of 11-6,
the Seahawks are off to the best start in Coach Marcopulos'
seven seasons! Cabrillo started 10-7 in both
the 2003-04 and 2004-05 seasons. Also, Cabrillo
has won 7 of their last 8 match-ups with Monterey,
including the last 6 in a row.

#18 - Cabrillo Downs Gavilan 77-57
The
Seahawks cruised past Gavilan 77-57 to improve to
2-1 in Coast Conference play. Chris Sharp led
Cabrillo in scoring with 21 points. Aaron Patterson
scored 19 points and Dom Dunham added 11 points.
With the win, Coach Marcopulos improved to 11-3 against
Gavilan.

#19 - 'Hawks Get Huge Victory on the Road; Knock Off
#3 West Valley 81-70
The
Seahawks handed the league's highest ranked team their
first loss, beating West Valley 81-70 in their own
gym. West Valley, currently ranked #3 in NorCal,
dropped to 19-5 overall and 4-1 in Coast Conference
play. Cabrillo was in control for most of the
game and led by as many as 17 points in the 2nd half.
Dom Dunham scored 20 points to lead the Seahawks.
Aaron Patterson scored 19 points and Chris Sharp added
18. Cabrillo is now alone in 2nd place in the
Coast Conference and a win on Saturday against DeAnza
would put the Seahawks in a first-place tie with West
Valley.

#20 - Heartbreak at the Buzzer
DeAnza
made a 3-point shot with 1.6 seconds left to beat
Cabrillo on Saturday night 76-75. Seahawk Jared
Wood launched a 3/4 court shot that rimmed out as
the buzzer sounded. Aaron Patterson led three
Cabrillo players in double figures with 23 points.
Chris Sharp scored 22 points and Dom Dunham added
11.

#21 - Cabrillo Beats San Jose City 63-49
Aaron
Patterson scored 17 points and Dom Dunham added 14
to lead Cabrillo to a 63-49 victory on the road Wednesday
night. The Seahawks made twelve 3-point shots
in the game.

#22 - 'Hawks Fall In OT; Lose to Hartnell 77-73
Chris
Sharp led the Seahawks with 20 points while Dom Dunham
and Aaron Patterson each added 11 points.

#23 - Seahawks Cruise Past Monterey 76-63

Patterson scored 18 points to lead Cabrillo.
Chris Sharp added 13 points and Jeff Brown scored
12. The Seahawks led wire to wire, were ahead
43-25 at the half and led by as many as 22 points
before cruising to their 15th victory of the season.

#24 - 'Hawks Win Again; Beat Gavilan 67-62
Chris
Sharp dominated the game in the paint, scoring 23
points to lead Cabrillo to their 16th victory of the
season, a 67-62 win over Gavilan on the road Wednesday
night. Aaron Patterson, the Coast Conference's
3rd leading scorer, added 19 points for the Seahawks,
who improved their Coast Conference record to 6-3.

#25 - 74-67 Win Over #8 West Valley Puts Cabrillo
Back In 2nd Place!
The
Seahawks completed a season sweep of 8th-ranked West
Valley College by winning tonight's game 74-67.
Cabrillo also won at West Valley back on January 17th
by a score of 81-70. Their 3rd-straight victory
gives them a shot at tying Hartnell for the league
title and the win should put the Seahawks in NorCal's
top 15 teams. Also, Cabrillo's 17th victory
of the season ties for the most wins in a season in
Head Coach Tony Marcopulos' 7 seasons. Cabrillo
used a balanced scoring attack (4 players in double
figures) to get the lead and some clutch free-throw
shooting to seal the victory. Dom Dunham scored
16 points, Bryan Hines had 15, Chris Sharp added 14
and Aaron Patterson chipped in with 13.

#26 - Cabrillo Gets Past DeAnza 83-80 in OT
The
Seahawks earned their 18th victory of the season by
outlasting DeAnza 83-80 in a wild game that included
overtime. Chris Sharp scored 17 points to lead
Cabrillo while Aaron Patterson added 14 points.
Isaac Houston made three 3-point shots and scored
11 points in limited action and Aaron Pearson contributed
10 points. Head
Coach Tony Marcopulos continues to take Cabrillo Basketball
to new heights. With at least one game still
remaining in the season, this year's team has already
won more games than any other team in Marcopulos'
seven seasons.

#27 - Coast Conference Champs!
The
Seahawks defeated San Jose City College 74-62 on Saturday
night for the 19th victory of the season. Cabrillo's
win gave them a Coast Conference Co-Championship with
Hartnell, the first league championship in the history
of Cabrillo basketball (the school was founded in
1959). Aaron Patterson scored 26 points to lead the
Seahawks while Dom Dunham added 17 points and Chris
Sharp had 14.

#28 - #5 West Hills Slips Past Cabrillo 67-65
Jason
Cole scored 16 points, Aaron Patterson had 14 and
Dom Dunham added 11 in Cabrillo's 2-point loss in
the first round of the NorCal Regional playoffs on
Friday night. The Seahawks had their chances
but couldn't put away a very good, 5th-seeded West
Hills squad.
