Cabrillo students build app to help when disasters strike

Fritz Billingsley and other Cabrillo computer science students took third place in the sixth annual Startup Hackathon at CSU Monterey Bay. Their project, titled "Life is ruff: never leaving your best friend behind," helps people find lost pets during a disaster. Cabrillo College Robotics Club participates in NASA challenge

The Cabrillo College Robotics Club participated the 2017 NASA Swarmathon tournament at Kennedy Space Center. From left to right: Takashi Tamasu, Arturo Cejudo, Fritz Billingsley, Allee Smallwood, Zoe Frei and Kylie Roberson. While they did not win, they will be back next year. See the robots in action. Cabrillo student Zeebo Gouldon develops football app.

Zeebo Gouldon, a Cabrillo Computer Science student, enjoys being the team manager for the Santa Cruz High football team. Cabrillo College Robotics Club wins NASA coding challenge
