About Us

All of our faculty work full-time in the industry thereby bringing current, real-world knowledge to the classroom on a daily basis.They share their knowledge and experience with you so that you are better prepared to succeed in your career as an engineering technician. Our commitment to your success leads to 100% job placement.

Emails and phone calls to faculty and staff are answered the same day.


The Program

The Engineering Technology program is entirely evening class-based and leads to six different certificates that can be attained in as little as one semester. The program also offers an Associate of Science Degree and a Certificate of Achievement.

The six skills certificates offered are:


checkmark Per Cabrillo's regularly tabulated statistics, the Etech program student success rates are continually 90% or higher.
checkmark We guarantee that our Etech students will be billable from the moment they set foot in their new place of employment. We also provide technical support to our students while they’re in the workplace.
checkmark We monitor labor statistics and the direction of employment market so that we can insure that our graduates are successful in the employment market. We have 100% placement in high paying jobs.
checkmark The program’s success rate for underrepresented minorities is high - regularly over 80%.
