Join Cabrillo Spanish Instructor, Félix Robles at FASTA University in Bariloche, located on the shores of Nahuel Huapi Lake at the foot of the Andes in Patagonia. The program is tailored to your language level by providing classes with no more than 8 participants. To provide a continuous language-learning experience, families will host our students. On our return trip from Patagonia, we will visit Buenos Aires for four days. Optional excursions to the glaciers or to Chile will be made available at extra cost. Orientations: At 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. in room 501 on May 19, September 9, and October 14.
Program includes:
- Round trip international airfare as well as round-trip air fare Buenos Aires/Bariloche and airport transfers in Argentina
- Lodging in Buenos Aires in shared rooms
- Intensive Spanish language and culture classes (no more than 8 students).
- Guided cultural activities in Buenos Aires and Bariloche
- Visit with Madres de la Plaza de Mayo
- Lecture on the geography and flora and fauna of Patagonia, and Latin American Art
- Health and trip cancellation insurance
- Five units of an Spanish language course (price of units paid separately to Cabrillo College)
All participants must register at Cabrillo College in a Spanish class for Wintersesson 09, and must be 18 or be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
