Intensive Spanish Language and Culture Immersion in Quito and Otavalo

Spanish instructor Félix Robles will direct this rich four-week study program in beautiful Ecuador with two weeks in Quito and two weeks in Otavalo. Enjoy guided visits to local cultural centers in both cities while you study language and culture daily in a small class setting (max. 7 students per class).
The program is tailored to your language level with small classes to maximize your language learning experience. Students will live in homes with families at both sites, and will share in the daily lives of their families. Please allow two weekend days for travel to and from Quito.
The program includes:
- Round trip airfare with transfer to and from airport
- Room and board
- Intensive Spanish language and culture classes
- All planned excursions and visits to historic sites
- Health and trip insurance
- Five units (four transferable) of a Spanish language course (price of units paid separately to Cabrillo College)

Participants must be 18 or older, or be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Participants must register for a Cabrillo Spanish class in summer 2009 by June 1, attend one of the orientations, a pre-departure meeting TBA, or conduct telephone conferences with Professor Robles.
