Italian instructor Carollyn Rudesill will direct this rich four-week study program in beautiful Campania in the South of Italy. Enjoy guided visits to Pompei, Capri, and the stunning Greek temples at Paestum; a boat ride down the amazing Amalfi Coast; day trips to Sorrento, Reggia Caserta and the island of Ischia.
The program is tailored to your language level with small classes to maximize your language learning experience. Students may share a room in an apartment with bath and kitchen privileges; or, for an additional sum, may request a homestay family or rent an apartment. Cost of the program will vary depending on the residence option selected.
The program includes:
- Round trip airfare with transfer to and from airport
- Shared room in an apartment
- Intensive Italian language and culture classes
- All planned excursions and visits to historic sites in and around Naples
- A one-month pass to many museums and castles
- Health and trip insurance
- Five units (four transferable) of an Italian language course (price of units paid separately to Cabrillo College)
Mrs. Rudesill has taught Italian at Cabrillo since 1996. She's taught full-time at UCSC for 15 years, and has regularly lead study programs abroad for over 15 years.
