Intensive Spanish Language

Universidad de Salamanca, Spain

June 2-July 1, Five Transferable Units

Students of all levels, from beginning to advanced Spanish, are invited to join Cabrillo Spanish Instructor, Consuelo España, for four weeks of an intensive language/culture study program to the golden town of Salamanca, Spain. Salamanca is probably best known for having the oldest university in Spain and one of the oldest in Europe. This university is still what gives ambiance to the town. You can see hundreds of students passing through the streets and enjoying this charming town still untouched in its architectural purity. In central areas all recent buildings are constructed in Salamanca's best tradition. The city has been declared "World Heritage Site" (Patrimonio de la Humanidad) by UNESCO.

The classes are 5 units of transferable credit through Cabrillo and the program cost includes airfare, private room with a Spanish family, three meals a day, round-trip transportation Madrid-Salamanca, small-class instruction, and travel insurance. Excursions to near by towns of Segovia, Avila, Toledo, and Madrid are available but are not included in the cost of the program.
