Hydroponic Food Production HORT 125 Tuesdays 6-8pm Meets 6/17-7/22 Introduces concepts and practices of growing food hydroponically, including set-up, nutrient solution preparation, lighting needs and pest control.
LandCADD for Landscape Design HORT-162LC Tuesdays, Thursdays 9:00 am to 11:50 pm Meets 6/17-7/24 Provides computer-aided design for landscape designers and architects using LandCADD software focusing on the use of the software and incorporating the software into design.
Pond Design and Construction HORT-162PO Fridays 8:30 am – 5:45 pm Meets 6/20-8/01 Teaches installation and design of landscape water features including formal and informal styles with hands-on experience constructing several ponds at off campus locations.
Introduction to Floral Design HORT-162FD Tuesday, Thursday 06:00PM - 09:15PM Meets 6/17-7/10 Introduces floral design techniques and styles as well as the proper handling and preparation of fresh flowers. Meets at Watsonville Center
