Chorus
Registration
You have three
choices:
1.
Pre-register by downloading both the registration (PDF file) form
and the emergency (PDF file) form, filling them out and sending in with tuition payment to
the address on the registration form. This saves everyone time
and trouble! You can do this even if you don't know which section
your singer will be in -- just leave that box blank.
2. OR download
the two forms, fill them out and bring with payment to the audition
(or if you are a returning singer, to your first rehearsal).
3. OR just
show up at auditions and do it all then. This can mean waiting
in line, and not having what you need to fill out the forms and
make the payment. (Parent volunteers handle registration, and
we do get overloaded at times.)
DETAILS
FORMS: You
must fill out BOTH forms. Yes, they do have some overlap, but
for purposes of photocopying this is necessary. And please do
not ask us to refer to last session's forms--this could make it
difficult for the staff to help your child in an emergency!
INFORMATION:
The information you give us will be used only for Chorus communication.
We print a roster which includes name, address and phone for all
Chorus families, which we mail to the families for purposes of
carpooling, phone tree, communication between volunteers, etc.
(If you don't wish to be on the roster, please note this on your
registration form.)
EMAIL: Email
newsletters are sent occasionally. Generally parents find this
news useful. We will not share your email address with anyone
outside the chorus.
VOLUNTEERING:
This is a great group to work with! All events, tours, choral
festivals, concerts, fundraisers, etc. offer opportunities to
connect with the community of chorus families and the greater
music community. The Chorus really needs a parent representative
from each chorus section to serve on the board. All parents are
welcome at monthly board meetings.
TUITION for
Fall 2009 semester is $185. TUITION ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE.

CHORUS COSTUMES are required. Polo shirts are $16. Formal costumes for Girls (dress, jewelry, shoes) cost $90. Special fittings take place during the semester. Formal costumes for Boys (black pants, tuxedo shirts, black shoes) are purchased by the parents; no special fittings required.
REFUND policy:
If a singer drops out within one month after the session rehearsals
begin, 75% of tuition will be refunded. Beyond that time, refunds
will be considered on an individual basis.
