Health Screening Requirements for ADN Students

In the interest of your own personal safety, the safety of your patients and the potential liability to both the college and clinical agency, there are significant health screening requirements that must be met in order to enter the clinical area. Each student is required to meet the vaccination and testing requirements and provide documentation to Student Health Services (SHS) by the required dates or risk dismissal or deferral.

NEW and Re-Entry Students

• All new and re-entry students must complete a pre-orientation health screening appointment with Mary Ann Peterson, RN, during the semester that precedes their entry date.

• All Students beginning in Spring 2009 must begin all required health screening by October 31st 2008.
