The opportunies described below will help you develop NECESSARY skills that you will use as a Nursing student and in your career in health care. Please carefully read the information below. GENERAL EDUCATION:
Complete your general education requirements! Make an appointment with a Cabrillo counselor to discuss general education requirements. Counseling appointments can be made by calling 478-6274.
FORGIVABLE LOAN PROGRAMS:
Explore employment opportunites that offer "Forgivable Loan Programs". Many local health care facilities offer these programs, some of which are Kaiser, Sutter, Dominican and CHOMP.These programs offer employees the opportunity to have their education paid for in exchange for a "Forgivable Loan" that includes a committment to work for their institution for a period of time after graduation.
