Career Planning for the Fire Service

Recommended Preparation: Eligibility for ENGL 100 and READ 100.

Prepares firefighter candidates for the testing and hiring process for entry-level fire protection positions.

This course covers the written entry exam, the oral interview, the physical agility exam, the background investigation and ways to prepare yourself prior to the testing process. There is special emphasis on women in the fire service with a panel of female firefirghters available to address any questions that you may have.
