What is Certified Mail?

Certified mail is available at all USPS post offices. It provides a tracking number for the parcel and the official post office postage mark date is used by the RT program to order the waitlist entries. It is not a means for faster delivery of the application to the RT office, nor is one needed as more prompt receipt of the application at the RT office has no effect on the waitlist placement of the applicant.

It is strongly recommended that all applicants include a Return Receipt card when they mail their application packets. These free, green, index-sized cards will be returned to the sender once their application arrives at Cabrillo College. This provides the sender with the assurance that their application packet arrived safely at its destination.
