Special Classes
Three classes are described here that are not part of the regular curriculum or school day. They are extraordinarily important and highly valued by the students they serve.

Additionally, a variety of special classes have been held at the Center that might interest other emerging or developing programs. Currently, they are temporarily, or perhaps permanently “retired.” Some have been taught by volunteers or instructors with special skills that were in demand by a certain segment of the student body. Other classes have been taught by Center instructors and were part of the regular curriculum.
Four classes that were particularly effective for our students are no longer offered. They have currently been incorporated into other offerings. Descriptions of these classes are provided for those who may want to replicate these successful courses as separate classes.
