Study Italian in Naples, Italy

Join Cabrillo College Italian Instructor, Carolina Rudesill, for four weeks of study in an intensive language/culture program in Naples, Italy.  We will have guided tours of Pompeii, Herculaneum, Greek temples at Paestum, the Naples Archeological Museum and Capodimonte; day trips to Capri, Sorrento, and a boat trip down the Amalfi coast.  Program costs also include round-trip airfare; shared room in an apartment (homestay available at additional cost); a one-month museum pass, and a cooking class that includes dinner! Students may receive 5 units of transferrable credit.

Participants must be 18 or older, or be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  Participants must register for a Cabrillo Italian class in Summer 2012 and attend one of the orientations. Program costs stated to not include tuition and fees for Cabrillo College. Participants must purchase travel and health insurance.

Interested applicants MUST attend ONE of the Orientation meetings:  Wednesday, Feb 22, 4:00pm, Room 319; Thursday, Feb 23, 5:30pm, Room 319; Tuesday, Mar 6, 5:30pm, Room 406.

 

Mrs. Rudesill has taught Italian at Cabrillo since 1996. She's taught full-time at UCSC for 15 years, and has regularly lead study programs abroad for over 15 years.
