Students of all levels, from beginning to advanced Spanish, are invited to join Cabrillo College Spanish instructor, Félix Robles, for a four-week intensive language and culture program in Puebla, Mexico, one of the ten best destinations in the world. The beautiful city of Puebla is famous for its colonical architecture, incredible regional food, and excellent summer weather. Puebla is a mere two hours from Mexico City, four hours from Oaxaca, and is close to many other cultural and archeological sites of importane, such as Teotihuacán and Cholula.


Cost for this program includes:


  • Round trip international airfare

  • Transportation to and from the airport in Mexico

  • Health and trip insurance

  • Lodging in the home of a Mexican family

  • All meals

  • Four-hour classes daily with no more than eight students

  • Two hours daily of 1:1 conversation in the afternoons with a Mexican counterpart
  • Guided excursions to Teotihuacán and Cholula.


Classes are five transferable credits from Cabrillo College. The program cost does not include tuition and fees for Cabrillo College classes. Participants must register for a Cabrillo College Spanish class (5 units) in Summer 2018 and be at least 18 years of age or be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Tuition and class fees must be paid directly to Cabrillo College upon registration.


All interested students must attend a preliminary and a predeparture orientation. Orientations will be Thursday, November 2, December 7, March 15, and June 7 in Room 314 at 6pm.
