4th Year Med-Student Visit

Laurel Schwingel, a Cabrillo and UCSC grad, came to Cabrillo on Sept. 18th to talk to us about her experiences of getting into medical school, surviving med school, and osteopathic medicine. She currently attends Touro University and is doing rotations in various hospital in the central California region.

Pre-med Conference at American River College

This event was awesome.  At this conference students had the opportunity to hear from Deans of Admissions from medical schools and current medical students.  Also, there were numerous (20 or more) workshops covering everything from the MCAT to Military Medicine to residency.  This conference is probably one of the best things you can do to educate yourself about the medical school process. If you missed it this year, plan on going next fall.

Health and Wellness Fair

Cabrillo Health Services hosted the Health and Wellness fair. Our club hosted a table promoting our club, and we provided volunteers to help set up.
