The Organization of Latin Americans (O.L.A.) has been a Cabrillo Club, since 1973 and for the past thirty-three years O.L.A. has been actively involved in providing educational, cultural and political support to all students at Cabrillo College. Our presence and work throughout the years has helped to bring about social change and contributed to the diversity of the Campus.

Our main purpose is to support and educate Cabrillo College students, faculty and staff about Latino issues, history, events and programs.

O.L.A. activities for 2006-2007 will include:

- field trips to Universities and Cultural Events

- organizing cultural and educational events

- fundraising for Scholarships

- personal counseling for all O.L.A. members.

We believe that our education is the road to success and by helping ourselves and our fellow students we can make our educational experience here at Cabrillo easier and enjoyable.
