Student Trustee Candidate

Steven Brown

Statement:

A large majority of students coming into college are doing so at basic skills levels. New trends towards learning communities have proven to increase GPA’s, plus classes passed. And people who haven’t graduated from high school can no longer take the ATB test to receive financial aid while a direct correlation exists between aid, the amount of education attained, and a person’s value to society and themselves. If elected I will advocate for the return of the ATB test as-well-as the above programs, which have been so important to the successes of other student’s and mine, here at Cabrillo College.
