How to run for office:

Go to the SAC East building and pick up a Senate application. Collect the 50 signatures from fellow students, and complete the application, then turn into the front desk in the SAC building. For more information, contact the Elections Chair at any time, day or night.

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Candidates must have and maintain a cumulative 2.0 grade point average at the time they run for office and throughout the course of their term.
• Candidates in their first semester at Cabrillo must be admitted on a "clear" academic status.
• Candidates must have and maintain an academic load of six units or more during their term of office.

Failure to maintain any of the above will result in dismissal from the Student Senate.

To find out about vacancies and/or to request an application, contact the Office of Student Affairs. We meet at the Student Activities Center, East Wing, room 225 every Thursday at 3 PM.  Every second Thursday of the month we meet at the Watsonville Campus at 3:30 pm.  Come see your Senate at work!
