Building 800 Renovation

Building 800 Renovation brings together several related programs into a state-of-the-art learning facility in one building:  Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Computer and Information Systems, and MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement).  The project is funded in part by a STEM Grant from the U.S. Department of Education, to facilitate broader participation in these disciplines by the County's Latino Community.  The STEM Grant will provide $1,952,530 or 46% of the estimated $4,202,530 construction and soft costs.  The balance of the estimated construction costs ($2,250,000) will be paid from the District's Measure D Bond Funds.
