Wells Fargo Bank Supports
Small Business Development Center at Cabrillo College

APTOS, CA—The Central Coast Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Cabrillo received a generous donation from Wells Fargo Bank to support the presentation of 48 seminars to be held throughout the Monterey Bay region in 2007. The seminars will include “Writing Your Business Plan,” “Basic Bookkeeping” and “Marketing Concepts for Your Small Business.”
            The SBDC is funded by the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Community Colleges of California. They provide free of charge business counseling and low cost seminars to businesses in the Monterey Bay area.
            Teresa Thomae, Director of the Small Business Development Center remarked, “Without the help of banks, we would not be able to present these weekly seminars at such a low cost. We are very grateful to Wells Fargo Bank for their generous support of our services.”
            One of the first seminars, Basic Bookkeeping, was held last week, attracting more than twenty business owners. One of the attendees, Kelly Garbarino commented, “These seminars are a great way to quickly learn how to better manage a small business. This is a great resource.”
            Ana Luisa Jimenez, a personal banker with Wells Fargo Bank remarked, “Wells Fargo is proud to be able to support efforts that help our local entrepreneurs. It’s our goal to see that small businesses grow and prosper.”
