CABRILLO COLLEGE’S SYMPHONIC CHORUS TO BE FEATURED IN FINALE OF SANTA CRUZ SYMPHONY SEASON

May 3 & 4

The final concert of the Santa Cruz County Symphony's 50th season features major works for chorus and orchestra. Shakespeare's "Merchant of Venice" supplies the text for Vaughan Williams "Serenade to Music," while Stravinsky’s "Symphony of Psalms" holds an unusual combination of instruments, with ten double reeds and an absence of violins, replaced by the chorus.
