Annie Glass Owner Juries Ceramic Competition for Cabrillo Gallery Exhibition
Reception: Thursday, November 13, 2008, 4:30 – 6:30PM at the Cabrillo College Gallery
APTOS, CA— Cabrillo College Gallery presents The Unbreakables, a juried exhibition of glass and ceramic art, selected by Ann Morhauser of Annie Glass studios. This years juried exhibition, an annual event, shows a great variety of glass and ceramic sculpture selected from a field of nearly 50 artists. Artists from throughout the state are included in this competition, however a strong contingent of local artists is represented, notably: Susana Arias, Kathryn McBride, Jenny Morten, Tim McDermott and others.
Award winners will be posted at the opening reception on Thursday, November 13th. Morhauser will select a final award-winner from the exhibition group, who will then be granted a one-person show at the Cabrillo Gallery and several cash awards.
The exhibition runs November 14 through December 12, in the Cabrillo Gallery, located in room #1002 of the Library building.
