Friday, February 13, 5:00 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. at Aptos Campus

The associated students of Cabrillo College invite the public to a Lunar New Year Celebration on Friday, February 13 at 5:00 p.m. in the Cabrillo College cafeteria on the Aptos campus. The evening will include traditional Asian dancing, food vendors, historical information and guest speaker local historian Sandy Lydon.

There will also be a silent auction which includes more than 25 stones from the opening chapter of the Tao Te Ching. These unique and beautiful stones were hand painted by the students of the Cabrillo calligraphy class. The Tao Te Ching is one of the greatest pieces of Chinese philosophy and is told, here, on these stones. The auction will benefit the Cabrillo College Student Senate’s cultural events committee and will be on display in room 450, on the Aptos campus until the day of the event. For more information write to or 831-479-6231.
