Cabrillo College Gallery Hosts Student Exhibition
May 4 - 29

Cabrillo Gallery’s “Student Exhibition 3,” is a comprehensive survey of artwork completed by Cabrillo College Art Department students during the spring 2009 semester. The 200-plus piece exhibit includes paintings, watercolors, mixed media collage, drawings, serigraphs, intaglio, ceramics, sculptures, small-scale metal/jewelry, fiber art, traditional and digital photography, and video.
The exhibition has been designed and installed by Cabrillo College student volunteers, who have learned the complex job of installation—selecting wall colors, pedestal placement, signage, lighting, and the organization of the large exhibit— to create galleries within the gallery.
Although a handful of work is exhibited out of the countless numbers of fine student work completed, “Student Exhibition 3” represents an outstanding cross-section of Cabrillo’s talented Students.
