Cabrillo College Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee
Solicits New Members

APTOS, CA – Committee members are being sought by Cabrillo College President Brian King to serve on the Cabrillo College Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee. The committee is seeking applications for four representatives: 1) an active member of a college support organization, 2) an active member of a senior citizen’s organization, and 3) a member of a student organization or club and 4) an At Large member. Oversight committee members cannot be employees, officials, vendors, consultants or contractors of Cabrillo College.       
New members will be appointed by the Cabrillo Governing Board at its August meeting. The Cabrillo College Governing Board passed a resolution on April 4, 2004 establishing the independent citizens’ oversight committee. The committee is responsible for ensuring Cabrillo College’s financial accountability for projects funded by a $118 million general obligation bond passed by voters in March 2004.
