The Constitution is Amendable and That’s Commendable!
Constitution Day at Cabrillo College
Thursday, September 17, 2009, 3:00-4:30 p.m. at Sesnon House

APTOS, CA— Join Cabrillo College’s Constitution Day celebration by engaging in a lively discussion on “The Constitution is Amendable and That’s Commendable!” with political scientist Rory O’Brien and historian Michael Mangin Thursday, September 17 from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. at historic Sesnon House on the Cabrillo Aptos campus.

All members of the public and the Cabrillo College community are invited to take part in this important civic event. Admission is free. Join the discussion on the amendment process as well as some of the specifics of the amendments themselves.

Cabrillo College President Brian King will kick-off the event and musical inspiration will be provided by Choral Director Cheryl Anderson and her student singing group, Il Dolce Suono, performing the National Anthem.

Each year Cabrillo College holds an event to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution and to reflect on the document’s relevance to our society today. Please plan on joining us.
