| UCSC TRANSFER BOUND PROGRAM
Cabrillo College - University of California, Santa Cruz
New students interested in participating in Cabrillo's UCSC Transfer Bound Program should send an email message to transfercenter@cabrillo.edu or call 831.479.6385. Students who contact us by April 30 with interest in this program will be given a special opportunity for early priority registration in May so they get the Cabrillo classes they need. They will also be invited to and encouraged to attend a special UCSC Transfer Bound orientation and information day scheduled for Saturday, May 5, 2007.
If you enroll at Cabrillo and participate in the UCSC Transfer Admission Guarantee (UCSC TAG) Program, UCSC will guarantee your admission as a transfer student at the junior level if you meet specified academic requirements.
Students graduating from high school this spring and other high school graduates who wish to enroll at Cabrillo and subsequently transfer to UCSC as juniors should follow these steps:
Steps To Follow
1. Apply for admission to Cabrillo College.
2. Apply for Financial Aid, if applicable.
3. Take the Assessment tests
that will provide you and your counselor with information about skill levels and placement in English, reading, and math courses.
