Unearthed is a body of work that has evolved out of an idea
of the past being brought back, into the light of the present,
by means of the visual metaphor.
I am the last generation of the pre-television
era. When comparing the 1950’s to the present, it seemed
a simpler time, a time where life moved much slower and one
could absorb ones reality at more fluid pace.
What comes out of this romanticized reminiscing is a feeling
of loss; a pronounced visceral reaction that manifests fertile
ground for sowing of seeds for the creative voice.
