Special sections of English 100 in fall semesters and English 1A in spring semesters are designated for students in this program. The focus in the English classes is on Chicano literature. A unique educational program is offered for adults who are stroke survivors or who have other disabling conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, arthritis or brain injuries. A physician's referral is required for admission. Phone 425-0622 for details.

Student Rights & Responsibilities
The civil rights of all students is upheld by the college with respect to sex, race, color, national origin, language, religion, age, disability or sexual orientation. If a student suspects these rights have been violated, the opportunity is available to seek resolution of the complaint by procedures outlined and available in Room 904 through the office of the Vice President of Student Services. Students also have the right to refuse any matriculation services including assessment, orientation, and counseling or to file a grievance if these services have been administered in a discriminatory manner.
