How to Fill Out Your Registration
Worksheet
After you
receive your assessment results, you can select your classes by
using the student worksheet in your folder and the Schedule of Classes
to help you map out your schedule. (Also available under Orientation
Resources on this page.)
It is strongly
advised that you meet with a counselor to map out your educational
plan.

1/2 hour appointment,

(A new browser window will open and you will need to close it
to return to this page.)

Cabrillo
students can register by phone using HAWK TALK (831) 477-5678,or
through Cyber
Reg.
Both Hawk Talk
and Cyber Reg may be accessed from home once you receive your assessment
results and meet with a counselor.
TIPS
Select your
English and Math classes first, since these are very popular
classes and therefore harder to get.
Make sure your classes do not overlap
in terms of time. If you make a mistake with this, the computer
will not let you register for the overlapping classes.
Some
classes have labs or a Corequisite.
Write these down on a separate line.
Pay
attention to course Prerequisites and Recommended Preparation.
Challenging
a Requisite: This requires written documentation
that explains the alternative course work, background, and/or
abilities that adequately prepare you for the course. A successful
challenge allows you to take the course without having had
the prerequisite. See the catalog for a more detailed description
of the process.
Registration Webpage: Check the Registration webpage for steps
on how to register.
Late Registration: Check procedures for adding and dropping
classes once the semester has started.
