Assessment and Orientation Schedule

Assessment Testing for Fall 2008

  • Please come 15 minutes early.
  • Assessment availability is on a first come first served basis. 

                 (Seating is limited to 55 students)

  • There will be no late admissions.
  • An orientation will follow immediately after each assessment.
  • Starting February 4th. all assessment takers will be asked to take a survey for cabrillo college to better serve students' needs.

IMPORTANT:   CHOOSE THE ASSESSMENT THAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU!

  Full Assessment is for a student needing Math, English/Reading  - allow 3 to 4 hours to complete

•  Math or English/Reading Assessment is for a student who just needs one of the tests - a math or an English/reading test. - allow 2 hours to complete

Requirements: MUST SHOW A PICTURE ID

  • Be sure to complete an Application for Admissions and submit to Admissions & Records

  • Know your social security number
  • Students must attend an orientation to receive their assessment scores

There is a one-week waiting period between the initial test and the retest. Exception: A student may not retest if they enrolled and remained in a math class and received a letter grade or a "W".

The following will give you an idea of the kinds of questions you will be asked to answer during the assessment. Calculators are not needed and cannot be used.
