Please send your child to school in loose fitting, easy dressing, sturdy, comfortable, washable clothes and shoes. Girls and boys do best in long pants (unless it's hot weather), and in shoes that are good for running and climbing. Clogs, slippery sandals, plastic "jellies" and cowboy boots are often the children's favorite-but they are hard to run in and dangerous for active play. We realize that children often have their own opinions-so do your best.

Please send a complete change of clothing and diapers, if appropriate, to school in a plastic bag. Children often get wet, either in play or by "accidents," and a change of clothes from home means we can keep them dry and comfortable. We strongly suggest that you also send a pair of puddle boots and a warm coat, for cold weather-and in warm weather, a bathing suit or cutoffs, or panties for waterplay. Please, please, please mark all your child's clothing (including socks and panties) with your child's name. It is a terrible headache trying to keep track of and sort many pairs of children's socks. We have a permanent ink marking pen you may borrow.

We do have a limited supply of extra clothes for children, marked CCC. If your child wears some home, please wash and return them.
