The Cabrillo College Children's Center is delighted to celebrate events, special occasions and family traditions with you and your children. We do not, however, celebrate commercially recognized holidays in the Center. In honoring the diversity of our families and the rich traditions important to each, we will not always create curriculum for Halloween, Hanukah, Christmas, Easter. Young children bring ideas, stories, family traditions and enthusiasm about these holidays into the Center. Please discuss with a teacher if you have any concerns about any particular celebration conflicting with your family values. We welcome this sharing and invite you to share your family traditions with us in class.
