Code 11 on Transcripts 1.4

A number of years ago, students could not get both college and high school credit for courses taken at Cabrillo. If the student took a course at Cabrillo and it was used as a part of their high school graduation requirements, the course was coded with an "11" on their transcript, and they were not given units by Cabrillo. More recently the policy has changed to allow students to get both college credit and high school credit for a class taken at Cabrillo.

A student can petition to A & R to get credit for a course that has been coded with the old code "11". The student needs to get a letter from their high school indicating that the course was not used as a part of their graduation requirements. This letter should be submitted to A & R along with one of the standard A & R petitions asking that the code 11 be removed.
