Transfer Admission Agreements 2.14

Cabrillo College has a total of seven Transfer Agreements with California Universities.

We write TAAs with four California State University campuses: Monterey Bay, Sacramento, San Francisco and San Jose State. To be eligible to write these agreements a student must have completed 30 transferable units with a 2.0 GPA. These agreements are written once a year in the fall for admission to fall in the subsequent year.

We write TAAs with two University of California campuses: Santa Cruz and Davis. For these institutions the student must have 30 transferable units completed and a 2.8 GPA. When writing these agreements it is advisable to consider the major preparation that the student will need upon entering the university.

UC Davis has specific guidelines, which must be observed to gain entrance. These guidelines are published yearly and are available in the Transfer Center.

We write a TAA with one private college, Santa Clara University. Santa Clara is the exception to the 30 units requirement. If a student has 60 units they have too many units to write a Santa Clara agreement. Agreements for Santa Clara are written in February/March 6 months prior to transfer. The GPA is in the 3.3 range.
