California State University Fall Quarter - November 1 - 30 Fall Semester - November 1 - 30 (Berkeley is the only UC campus on the semester system, and only accepts applicants for the fall semester).
Winter Quarter - July 1 - 31
Spring Quarter - Oct 1 - 31
Note: not all UC campuses accept applicants every term. Consult with current information from the Transfer Center or contact schools directly. Specific majors will often have additional restrictions regarding application periods. Generally speaking the following is accurate for UC admissions:
Berkeley: Fall Semester only
Davis: Fall Quarter only. However, students can apply directly to Davis for Winter Quarter between July 1 - 31 with a letter of appeal explaining why it is important to transfer in the winter quarter. Appeals will be considered on an individual basis.
Irvine: Fall and Winter Quarter applications accepted
Los Angeles: Fall and Winter Quarter applications accepted
Riverside: Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarter applications accepted
San Diego: Fall Quarter only
Santa Barbara: Fall and Winter Quarter applications accepted
Santa Cruz: Fall and Winter Quarter applications accepted
Fall Semester or Quarter - October 1 - November 30 Winter Quarter - June 1 - 30
Spring Semester or Quarter - August 1 - 31
Summer - February 1 - 28
