Distance Education
Resources for Faculty

Online teaching and learning is different from traditional, face-to-face (f2f) education. Fortunately, resources to ease the transition abound. Find out about Teaching Online.

Our Teaching and Learning Center provides help with designing your course, learning technology, building a web site, and dealing with technology. Call and make an appointment or just drop-in.

Procedure for ADDING distance students:

Forward the student’s email request you receive to add the class to onlineregister@cabrillo.edu  (ONLY faculty can authorize the ADD.) Include the following information:

First and Last Name
Student ID # or SS #
Course name and section number (e.g. DM 70, section 49605)

If students have not applied to the College, they can complete the online application at http://www.cabrillo.edu/services/webreg/index.html

Students who need to add after the deadline will need to submit a petition to add a full term course. Petitions go to Admissions and Records.
