•  Browser Tune-ups: Tips and Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble using Blackboard, there may be a problem with your browser or other software on your computer. First check and configure your browser, then read the following troubleshooting information.

•  Turn off Pop-up Blockers : If a pop-up blocker is enabled, use of discussion postings, quiz windows, and download links will not work. Depending on the pop-up blocking software you are using, you may be able to set your Blackboard server as an allowed site, or you may need to disable the pop-up blocker while using Blackboard. Some browsers and security programs come with pop-up blockers, including Norton Internet Security 2003, AOL 8.0 and later, and Safari browsers. Again, disable the blocking software or set the Blackboard server as an allowed site.

The address to set as an allowed site in your web browser is: online.cabrillo.edu
