Our program received CMSP (California Motorcycle Safety Program) Awards in 2008 - 2009:
Excellence of our Rider Coaches
Range Safety
In 2006-2007 We received 3 CMSP Awards:
We are in the top 5% of Overall Student Satisfaction
This award is determined by the results of the Student Evaluation Forms that are completed for each class and are turned in to CMSP. The evaluations cover ease of registration, fees, quality of classroom training and quality of training on the range.
The second award is for Excellence in Range Management
and is determined by on-site QA visits by CMSP. This is a direct reflection on Doug Green, our On-Site Training Coordinator, and the excellence of
our motorcycle rider coaches.
And we are also #1 in the number of female students we train.

Our award-winning Motorcycle Safety class is the only CMSP approved class in Santa Cruz County.
California Law requires that motorcycle and moped drivers under age 21 complete an approved safety training program before being issued a license.
This course fulfills the DMV requirement for under 21 riders. Riders over 21 also benefit since successful completion of the course may waive the riding skills test at the California DMV and insurance discounts may be available.
Class consists of two Thursday evening classroom sessions and two Saturday ranges. When registering for a class, be certain that you can attend all four meetings and arrive on time to avoid being dropped from the class.
We provide motorcycles and helmets.
We hold two classes per month and these classes are very popular and fill quickly. We can only register students for classes 90-days out.
Fee for students under 21: $150
Fee for students over 21: $250
