Funded through private donations to the Cabrillo College Foundation, scholarships are awarded to selected Cabrillo College students who show academic promise, scholastic achievement, and community and/or campus involvement.
This application places students in consideration for the scholarships generated through the Cabrillo College Foundation as well as some private scholarships throughout the year.
Scholarship awards range from $500-$2,500 to be disbursed beginning Fall of the 2012-2013 school year.
Cabrillo College General Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
To apply you must:
Enroll in and complete a minimum of 9 units at Cabrillo for the Fall 2011 term
Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA for all Cabrillo College course work

A complete application requires three items that must be received by the scholarship deadline.

Note: The FIRST TIME you go to eForms, you will have to ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT BEFORE you will be able to login. You must have a current application for admission with the college to activate your eForms account.
One page Letter of Recommendation A letter of recommendation should be written by someone who is familiar with your academic progress, future goals, and any extenuating personal circumstances. Letters should NOT be from a parent or friend.

Make sure to include your name, student ID number and what documentation you are submitting in the text of your email. Also, include student name on letter of recommendation. Attachments must be a word document or pdf.

Selection of Recipients
Cabrillo College General Scholarships recipients are chosen by a panel of Cabrillo College faculty and staff members, and a Cabrillo College Foundation Board member.
After Fall 2011 grades are posted, eligible applications will be reviewed by the selection committee in the Spring 2012 term. Applicants will be notified by email in late April 2012 of their status.
To Receive your Award
In order for awards to be released, students must:
