Program Specialist
CTE/Teacher Preparation Pipeline Grant
Grove Scholars

I have been connected with Cabrillo College, one way or another, since August 1990. At that time I started working at the Cabrillo College Foundation, which raises private funding for Cabrillo. After almost 16 years at the foundation, I became a student at Cabrillo, received my AA degree, was added to the waiting list for Cabrillo’s Radiologic Technology program and was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with the fabulous team at Fast Track to Work.

Currently, I am helping maintain the Grove Scholar students’ files and request funding for their classes and other school related costs.

My other position with the college is as a Program Specialist for the Career and Technical Education Teacher Preparation Pipeline program grant. I work closely with Catherine Lachance, Kitty O’Doherty on the grant and with Rosemary Brogan, Eva Acosta, and Kim Sakamoto on outreach and maintaining records of the Education 80 students.

I spend much of my time away from work with my loving family and good friends. I enjoy singing in my church choir and playing our beautiful hand bells. I am hooked on the game Sudoku (on paper) and will wash dishes for anyone who will cook me a meal.
