Health Center Services
Campus
services include:
- First
aid and direct medical services for acute illnesses and injuries
- Referral to
appropriate community medical resources when indicated
- Physical examinations for
school transfer, athletics, work or school requirements
- Routine
immunizations
- Health
counseling and education
- HIV
testing by appointment
- Emergency
birth control
- Mental health counseling by
appointment, including crisis, personal (short term), and appropriate
referral to community resources
- Health
education materials and classes
- Necessary laboratory
tests (at reduced rates)
- Completion of medical
insurance claim forms for on-or off-campus college-related
accidents
- Pregnancy testing,
tuberculosis testing, and strep screening
- Family
planning services are available through arrangement with Planned
Parenthood every Friday afternoon during the
Fall and Spring Semesters on the Aptos Campus. Appointments
can be made by calling 426-5550.
